This collection of scarves for Small World Goods was handmade by women in the Kullu Valley of the Indian Himalayas. Sourcing wool from local small farmers, each wool scarf was hand loomed in traditionally inspired Kullu patterns. Each pattern is extremely limited.
A black and white diamond weave can appear grey from a distance, but closer inspection reveals a beautifully complex weaving pattern. We hope you enjoy the comfort and beauty of this piece when the thermometer drops!
Scarf body 100% wool (local farmers of the region), pattern made with 15% cashmilon to maintain vibrancy of colors.
Approximately 51" wide and 78" long.
Each piece arrives to you carefully wrapped with handmade notes about its origin, passing on a personal connection and adding a uniqueness to the shopping (or gifting) experience.
Hand made in the Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh, providing fair wage jobs for local women.
