Taken a visa run lately?
You find yourself in some of the most interesting places and situations when you reach the extent of stay for your travel visa, and must visit another country in order to return.
This pic is from my visa run to a floating village in Myanmar in 2004. I had no idea what to expect, especially traveling alone as a young woman. It was quick, but it was fascinating. And the sense of empowerment I gained from organizing and accomplishing this trip alone is something that has supported me in difficult times ever since✨
