Surviving the TX Ice Storm/Energy Disaster

It’s been a rough week for us Texans. Although our house lost power and drinking water, we were lucky enough to have amazing friends take care of us (and our 4 cats and dogs!), and I covered as many of our outdoor plants as possible. It could have been a whole lot worse- we were some of the lucky ones. It’s been exhausting though, and I’m only just now getting back in the work roll.

However useless some government officials have been 😠, this Austin community is strong, and it busted my heart wide open to see all the people and businesses working tirelessly to help those in need. Sending out loads of love- take care of yourselves out there! 💛
