If you haven't been yet, the Caravan Co-Op was started by a trio of Austin women retail truck owners (Urban Izzy, Ramblin' Rose, and To the Moon). They created a co-operative shop with soaring ceilings where 8 women-run businesses can set up their own mini-shops. We share responsibilities and support each other through the myriad challenges of women running small businesses in these times. It's truly a magical place, and I hope you can visit to see for yourself!
The Caravan Co-Op is in the Hill Country Galleria, just west of Austin. It's about a 15 minute drive from downtown, but a breath of fresh air from city life perched in the rolling country hills. We're super excited to be embarking on this new adventure and can't wait to share the ride with you!
Being a part of the Caravan Co-Op will allow Gadabout Goods to continue building our website, while still maintaining a physical presence with the support offered at the co-op. Our complete inventory is always available online, and we'll be uploading new holiday goods from women around the world in the next week.
