Organic Heirloom * Parasinho * Regeneratively Grown * Joaihú Cacao Husk Tea
Cacao husk tea is made from the shell surrounding our sun dried cacao beans. When steeped as tea, cacao husks make for a rich and naturally sweet delight packed with antioxidants. The nourishing chocolate flavor makes for an ideal coffee or chocolate substitute you can enjoy hot or iced at any time of day.

Joaihú Mission:
pronounciation: jo-eye-hoo
Joaihú is an ancient Tupi word that means "to love and be loved".
It's a verb; a way of being, a mutual care and respect that guides the way we work and live. We are a Direct Origin, Tree To Bar, chocolate company crafting fine cacao products from our agroforestry project and rainforest preserve in Bahia, Brazil.
Joaihú started when we began thinking of ourselves as stewards of the Earth. We had built careers around environmental and social causes, working as artists, biologists, and community organizers. But it was through our own health and spiritual journeys that we were led to the magic of the Brazilian rainforest. And through relationships with plant allies and medicines came our connection to cacao.
So, we decided to build our own brand—committed to making exceptionally high-quality chocolate that celebrates the dynamic flavors of Brazilian cacao. Because everyone deserves to fill their life with soulful nourishment.
